Rules: In a text post, list ten books
(but I guess manga and comics are good as well) that have stayed with you in some way. Don’t take but a few minutes, and don’t think too hard — they don’t have to be the “right” or “great” works, just the ones that have touched you. Tag [ten] friends, including me, so I’ll see your list. Make sure you let your friends know you’ve tagged them.
1. The Book Thief by Markus Zusak (all the feels)
2. Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte
3. Harry Potter (just all of it)
4. The Handmaiden’s Tale by Margaret Atwood
5. Persuasion by Jane Austen
6. Stuart: A Life Backwards by Alexander Masters
7. Sophie’s World by Jostein Gaarder
8. A Hat Full of Sky by Terry Pratchett (I love frying pans)
9. How I Live Now by Meg Rossoff
10. The Hobbit (so, so much better than LoTR imo)
So many books, so little list.
No pressure to actually do this, but anyway.
i find it funny that “i like big butts” has always been a well-liked song, but as soon as Nicki Minaj samples it and shows off her amazing ass in a video, suddenly OH MY GOD WHAT A SLUT PUT THAT AWAY
like, it’s okay for a guy to talk about how much he loves butts
but it’s not okay for women to love their own butts
funny how that works

It’s disturbing that Lewak is so desperate for random men to approve of her appearance that she’s willing to take the risk that these interactions turn sour–not only that, but she’s willing to take that risk for all of us. She writes, “Oh, don’t go rolling those sanctimonious eyes at me, young women of Vassar: I may court catcalls, but I hold my head high. Enjoying male attention doesn’t make you a traitor to your gender.”
Most people who are attracted to men enjoy some sort of male attention, but not all of us enjoy it from any man, at any time, in any place. Kind of like I love pizza, but I don’t want people to shove pizza in my face every time I leave my apartment. Actually, I would probably start to kind of hate pizza if that happened, especially if trying to refuse the pizza led to slurs and threats of violence."

My brother’s friend was starting to apply for colleges. And one of the colleges he applied to required a 3 page essay explaining what daring meant to them.
So being the clever person he was
On the each page he wrote 1 word with huge font,
And he later got accepted.
